Today in class we learned about identifying different pests.
To more easily identify them we can divide pests into three groups depending on how they feed.
Chewing, sucking and rasping.
To identify a pest problem we can look for signs and symptoms.
Sign can be the animal itself, it's moulted exoskeleton/egg casings or it's droppings.
Symptoms are damage caused by the pest and/or altered growth response in the plant.
