15/5/13

Weather:
E winds 20kph
rain - 0.4mm
high 15C low 9C

Today at work experience I pricked out 84 ti kouka, Cordyline australis, seedlings and potted them on

I  then trimmed dead, frost-bitten folaige from a( number) of cape gooseberry plants that were in the shadehouse before re-potting and watering them.

Gave the potting shed a thorough sweep and clean, disinfected the benches with a dilute mix of water and bleach, i used a ratio of approx 1/8 of bleach/water. This should help reduce the risk of cross contamination of soil-borne pathogens.
